Lightspeed Leisure has been launched in response to the challenge faced by hospitality suite operators who require internet on demand in their properties, but don’t want the overhead of the service when their units are unoccupied.
The hospitality industry client pays a once off R1999 VAT inclusive fee to activate Lightspeed Leisure which is a 500Mbps service (default configured to 250Mbps down / 250Mbps up) in a precinct or on a build route at which these high speed services are available. A router is laid down and the service is activated and added to the hospitality industry client’s service portal on my.cybersmart.co.za
When a tenant moves into the unit, the hospitality industry client can then top-up via my.cybersmart.co.za with either a 1, 5, 15, 30, 60, 90, 180 or 365 day top-up depending on the length of the tenancy.
Top-ups are cumulative so if the guest is staying 6 nights the client would do a 1 day and 5 day topup. This allows the hospitality provider to match their cost of sales with their revenue.
These top-ups are highly cost effective and also provide the Hospitality Industry client with the option to mark up this connectivity and sell to tenants on a value-added basis thereby creating an additional revenue stream. It also enables them to self-manage the connectivity costs based on revenue they generate, without the internet cost overhead.
There is tiered pre-paid top-up pricing.
Also a further unique selling point when compared with other hotel offerings is that each room has a dedicated service not a shared service per floor. The hospitality establishment can, on a per room basis, see prior to check-in whether there is a fault on the service in the room or not via their self-service portal.
Only available to hospitality industry clients with 10 rooms or more (e.g. Hotels, Airbnb and guest suite operators and student accommodation providers) in Cybersmart precincts or along Cybersmart Build Routes.
